Hello!

Three videos in one week for this newsletter! That's... a lot, now I think about it. I've got no idea how long this is sustainable, but in the meantime:

On my old channel, flying here is legal, but it feels like it shouldn't be.
On Plus, I tried tightrope walking, and it was terrifying.
And on the all-new Technical Difficulties channel, we're back! And Gary cooks bacon on a steam train's firebox.

I should probably take a rest at some point. Anyway! Elsewhere in the world of video this week:

Where does a canal get its water from? is a lovely trip to a bit of engineering history, made by Paul and Rebecca Whitewhick.
Half-Asleep Chris builds a giant cat-food marble run, which is joyful.
Silvia Solymosyová is an underwater dancer, which is a discipline I didn't know about until I saw this astonishing 14-second video.

And on the rest of the web, there have been a lot of good articles and interesting things:

Randall Munroe of XKCD has been updating his "What If" blog again, and questions like "could you slide down a fire pole from the Earth to the Moon" are well worth reading.
A Japanese newspaper is retiring their old "telephone" icon.
Ambicase: a font that is somehow both upper and lower case at the same time.

And finally, why do pigeon nests look so... well, the article contains a lot of strong profanity, including in the title, so I'll leave it at that.
