What do you mean by 'currently more popular'?

Every day, the site checks the latest listening figures from Spotify's developer API — so this is a live representation of what real people are listening to over the last few days. It's not all-time listens: it's what's going on right now.

How accurate is it?

Treat the results a pinch of salt. The quiz takes the listening data from the most popular version of each track, ignoring covers, live versions, and the usual dozen odd copies that lurk around the bottom of Spotify's search results.
